When is RCC the right choice over steel?
RCC suits multi-storey buildings with moderate spans, high fire-rating requirements, heavy floor loading or acoustic separation between floors — offices, hospitals and residential-style commercial buildings in particular.
How do you control concrete quality on site?
Mix designs are validated at the batching plant, cube samples are taken at defined intervals and tested at seven and twenty-eight days, and pours are supervised against approved reinforcement checks.
What is post-tensioned concrete and when would we use it?
Post-tensioning uses tensioned steel tendons inside the slab to carry load, allowing longer spans and thinner floors. On large commercial floorplates it can remove columns and save a storey of height across a tall building.
